Your Quiz Result➡️  Routine Rescue Needed

Your child's routine is running on fumes

You're doing a lot. But their ADHD brain needs something different- or the stress will keep showing up every day.

What This Means

✔️Mornings feel rushed and chaotic.

✔️After-school arguments are on repeat.

✔️Bedtime seems to drag on forever.

What Your Child May Be Experiencing:

Difficulty with time awareness, so they may have no urgency unless you yell or rush them

✅Lack of motivation to engage in boring tasks (like brushing teeth or doing homework)

✅Wants to do well, but gets lost in too many steps or has trouble staying focused

🪜One Step at a Time

It takes kids with ADHD longer to process information. If you need your child to put their lunch in their backpack, get their shoes on, and get in the car, first just say, "lunch in backpack". Breaking down big tasks into smaller steps is a win for the ADHD brain.

👌🏼The Just Right Zone

Some kids need quiet and chill in the morning so they don't get overstimulated but need to move and be silly to get through homework. Know what works for your kid. Matching the activity level with what their brain needs can boost motivation and prevent meltdowns.

💫Have a Plan

It doesn't have to be perfect, or a schedule written in stone. But having a consistent rhythm or flow to each part of the day with clear expectations can greatly reduce confusion and boost your child's ability to do things without constant nagging or reminding.

These are quick wins you can try right away- but to make your whole day run smoother, you'll need a routine that's designed specifically for how the ADHD brain is differently wired.
