When basic requests turn into arguments, reminders, or meltdowns
Â
Make It Easier Week is a 5-day reset that shows you what to stop doing- and what to do instead- so you’re not stuck repeating yourself, managing emotions, or negotiating everything.

If the same problems keep happening:
Â
Getting along can be tough for kids with ADHD-
 at home and with friends
Â
This isn't a challenge. It's a reset.
Make It Easier Week isn’t about adding new strategies, systems, or routines.
It’s about removing the things that are quietly making everyday situations harder- even though they seem like the “right” thing to do.
Each day, you’ll focus on one small shift you can use during everyday situations that usually turn into arguments, reminders, or meltdowns:
-
❌what to stop doing in a specific moment
-
âś…what to do instead
-
📉and why that change helps things go differently next time
No charts.
No prep.
No homework.
You’re not trying to fix everything in five days.
You’re interrupting the patterns that keep showing up- so everyday requests don’t keep turning into the same problems.
What You'll Get During the 5 Days:
Each day focuses on a different kind of everyday situation- so your child’s responses start changing, without you adding more to your plate.
Day 1: Requests that don't turn into arguments
- Your child is more likely to move forward instead of pushing back or debating everything you say
Day 2:Â Less reminding, more follow-through
- You're not repeating yourself all day- and things start getting done without constant nagging
Day 3: Meltdowns that don't escalateÂ
- Emotions peak lower and pass sooner instead of taking over the situation
Day 4: You're not doing it for them
- Your child handles more on their own without you hovering, rescuing, or stepping in every time
Day 5: Knowing what to focus on next
- You leave clear about which shifts matter most for your child- so progress doesn't disappear after the reset
Hello there!
I’m Lisa Smith- a school-based occupational therapist with over 30 years of experience helping kids strengthen their emotional, behavioral, and social skills.
I’m also a parent who’s lived the ups, downs, and “please just get along for five minutes” moments of raising a child with ADHD.
Everything I teach in this workshop comes from a blend of science and evidence-based research paired with what works in real life- what actually helps kids cooperate, connect, and build the skills they need to get along at home and with friends.
Let's make getting along easier
Fewer sibling struggles.
Better friendships.
With the right tools built for kids with ADHD-
Your child can be the kind of sibling and friend who others actually want to be around
I want my child to get along with others
